Figuring Things Out

So, I have been trying to figure out what I want to do blogging/vlogging wise. The first question was, do I really want to blog and/or vlog? That one was easy. Yes. I want to blog and vlog. I have been wanting to for years because it would be fun and it will be nice to have something to keep me busy instead of just sitting like a lump in front of the tv for hours when work and cleaning is done.

Second question is, what do I want to blog and vlog about? This has been a trickier question for me as I have many interests and don't do any of them enough to really be able to focus on only one topic. I know I would like to eventually have some kind of audience and I know its easier to build one when you really only focus on one topic. I wanted to try streaming games but, when I found out that my husband really wanted to stream games, I decided I would just let him do that and I would focus more on vlogging about books. I have been doing that but, I am not really happy with it because I am only able to post anything once or twice a month and that will soon go down as the amount of books I get in a month goes down. I am not reading fast enough to merit buying more books. My TBR pile is out of control right now and as I don't have a lot of money to begin with, its just the logical rout to stop buying a whole bunch of books. Even when they are dirt cheap. I know. Blasphemy! But in all seriousness, I have to do what I have to do. The only books I will be buying are books to finish off my favorite series that are currently going, like Throne of Glass and A Court Of Thorns and Roses for example. I do currently still plan to buy the books that we read in the Our Shared Shelf group as well because they have been good for me and its one book every other month which is manageable. Plus, those are the books I've been making priority reading wise.

So, back to about streaming. Its something that I have wanted to do and still do but, like I said earlier, my hubby is currently doing it. Now, it isn't stopping me from being able to do it at all. He has even told me he doesn't care if I do it too and supports me on whatever I want to do. I was just wanting to let him have this one thing because gaming is really the only hobby he does while I do practically everything under the sun. I have a hobby of collecting hobbies....... Haha! I do think I am going to start streaming though. Gaming and books are my 2 favorite things to do and I have it mostly figured out on how to balance everything. The only time where it will prove a challenge is when school ends for the year and our kiddos will be home all day again.

Maybe that's what my blogs and vlogs will be about. Not only my passion for books and games and everything I do with those but, how to balance those, my other hobbies, parenting, being a wife...... Life.

How to balance life and not go crazy. Maybe that's my answer. I'll take you with me on my journey to balance my fun life with my responsible life and you'll get to see both. I have known plenty of moms who have wondered how to balance a fun life and responsible life and right now I have a plan. Lets see if it works together and if not, we find a new plan! Haha!
